Terms of Use
These terms govern your use of MicroCoach, operated by Sabil Ahmad. By using the app you accept them.
1. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to use MicroCoach on devices you own or control, for your own learning. You may not resell it, rent it, reverse-engineer it except where law permits, or use it to build a competing dataset or service.
2. What MicroCoach is — and is not
MicroCoach generates study material using AI. Generated lessons may contain errors. Each lesson shows a confidence score and, where available, sources, precisely so you can judge it. MicroCoach is a study aid. It is not professional advice — not medical, legal, financial, or safety advice — and must not be relied on as such. Verify anything that matters.
3. Acceptable use
Do not use MicroCoach to seek material that facilitates harm, exploitation, self-harm, weapons or other wrongdoing. Topics are screened before generation and such requests are refused. Do not attempt to bypass that screening, the daily allowance, or any technical restriction.
4. Accounts
Accounts are anonymous by default and require no personal information. You may optionally link a Google identity so your account survives a device change. You are responsible for activity under your account and for keeping access to any linked identity secure.
5. Free allowance, subscriptions and credits
MicroCoach includes a free daily allowance of new lessons. Reviewing lessons you already have is unlimited on every plan. Premium and lesson credits are sold as in-app purchases through the App Store and Google Play.
- Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled in your store account.
- Cancel at least 24 hours before a renewal date to avoid the next charge.
- Refunds are handled by Apple or Google under their policies, not by us.
- Deleting your MicroCoach account does not cancel a store subscription.
- Prices may change; changes will not alter an already-paid period.
6. Your content and ours
Topics you enter remain yours. The app, its design and its underlying software remain ours. Generated lessons are provided for your personal study; we make no claim of accuracy and grant no exclusivity over them.
7. Availability
We aim to keep MicroCoach available but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Generation depends on third-party AI infrastructure and may be unavailable or rate-limited. Lessons already saved to your device remain readable offline.
8. Termination
You may stop using MicroCoach and delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete Account. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms, particularly the acceptable-use section.
9. Disclaimers and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, MicroCoach is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, and our aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including mandatory consumer rights or liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, or personal injury where exclusion is prohibited.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Qatar. The courts of Doha, Qatar have jurisdiction, except that consumers retain any mandatory protections and forums available under the law where they live.
